Ministry of Counselling and Christian Development :: Ann Gillies

As the Pastor of this ministry I have the responsibility of ministering in the area of spiritual and emotional wholeness to the congregation and to the surrounding community as the need arises.

I am a Professional Christian Counsellor with a background in Biblical Studies.  I work in partnership with Gentle Shepherd Community Church to provide Christian Counsellor and training workshops as requested. 

I have provided marriage retreats for over 10 years on an annual basis for the church family as well as seminars on:

• Conflict Resolution
• Emotional Healing
• Acceptance and Rejection
• Grief
• Divorce and Remarriage
• Blended Families
• Holiness
• Healing and Deliverance
• Sexual Abuse  and others

As well as my work with GSCC, I have a private Counselling practice in Dundalk (Still Waters Counselling), and teach counselling studies at Emmanuel Bible College in Kitchener, ON.

I have just begun Ph.D. studies at Liberty University in Virginia and hope to bring continued excellence in therapy and spiritual release to the local church and community.
